FAHR seeks to create such human capital in the federal government that achieves global leadership, enables it to realize outstanding institutional performance, and supports the application of integrated solutions for human resources, according to the best global practices.

Federal Authority For Government Human Resources (FAHR) was established in 2009 in order to develop and improve the role of human resources in the federal government, based on the new concepts and international standards applied in this field. It is entrusted with the general powers and responsibilities related to the development and improvement of human resources in the federal government.

FAHR's strategic objectives include:

Developing and applying an integrated legislative system for the management of human capital in the federal government

Promoting and developing human capital in the federal government to achieve global leadership

Creating a delightful and motivating work environment for human capital in the federal government
